Charlie is a London-based film, TV and media composer. With a grounding in orchestral composition but a flair for innovation, Charlie is known for crafting evocative scores and soundscapes that seamlessly blend the beauty of classical music with modern electronic, experimental and ethnic elements. He has composed for a huge number of global advertising campaigns, short films, television series and documentaries. At the core of his approach is a commitment to total collaboration with directors and storytellers to create music that supports and enhances narrative at every opportunity.

Across his career to date, Charlie has been fortunate enough to work with several illustrious directors including Tom Hooper, Guy Ritchie and Simon Cracknell as well as many emerging directors and new talents.

Notable film and TV credits include the documentary feature Overheated (2022) starring Billie Eilish and Vivienne Westwood, an original score for It's Not You, It's me (2021) and five series of BBC's flagship culinary show Masterchef.

Charlie's advertising credits include two consecutive years of Christmas campaigns for Marks and Spencer, Uber, Switzerland, Vodafone, Pringles, Shell and outdoor brand Helly Hansen - to name but a few.
